Yasiin Bey, F.K.A. Mos Def, Featured in New Louis Vuitton Ad

A couple of months ago we revealed the new icon for Louis Vuitton’s Core Values campaign, Muhammad Ali. As a follow-up, the luxury brand tapped Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, to be featured in its new ads.

In the new ads that were shot by Stuart McIntyre, Bey dramatically recites lines made famous by Ali while invoking the boxer in the ring. As Bey talks, visual artist Niels Shoe Meulman draws on the ring, resulting in a visual piece of art. Here’s a peek at the new videos, “Dream” and “Word.”
